Эта работа — о моменте, когда стихия отпускает землю. "После грозы" написана маслом на холсте 50х50 см. Мне хотелось запечатлеть то особое состояние, когда тучи ещё не ушли, но уже светит солнце. Дождь виден вдали, как прозрачная завеса, а холмы на горизонте уже залиты золотым светом. Масляная краска позволяет передать драматизм неба: тяжёлые свинцовые тучи, пробивающиеся лучи, влажный воздух после дождя. Тёмная вода впереди отражает небо, создавая ощущение глубины и покоя после бури. Эта картина о надежде. О том, что даже после самой сильной грозы приходит свет.
